Wind turbine generator step-up transformers may be equipped with an expulsion fuse in series with a current limiting fuse on each phase of the high voltage side of the transformer. A low-voltage breaker equipped with an overcurrent trip device may be applied to protect the low voltage cables and auxiliary equipment.
