Indonesia is accelerating 5G expansion nationwide through spectrum optimisation, satellite technology and strategic partnerships to bridge the digital divide and boost digital transformation across the archipelago.
Despite these limitations, mobile broadband quality has steadily improved in recent years. In addition to the need for additional spectrums for 5G deployment, telecommunications providers in Indonesia face high costs for spectrum and other telco infrastructure, operations, marketing, and services.
Meanwhile, Indonesia still faces challenges in terms of infrastructure, namely Spectrum. Even though the Kearney report said that Indonesia is an attractive 5G market.
