To locate the installation area, DANF, a deep learning-based dual-flow aggregation network designed for curtain wall frame segmentation, is proposed. It employs Transformer for global analysis and CNNs for detailed feature extraction to handle curtain wall frame structures.
The image of the curtain wall frame is fed into a deep learning-based semantic segmentation network. After prediction, the segmentation results of the curtain wall frames are obtained.
For this binary classification task, as the target of our segmentation, the curtain wall frame has the characteristics of a large overall span but a small proportion of its area in the whole region, the positive and negative samples are unbalanced.
Compared to other models, when facing strong background sunlight (rows 1 and 2), DANF exhibits better effectiveness in the segmentation of curtain wall frame edge details. When dealing with obstructions (rows 3 and 4), DANF can use semantic information to identify the obstructions and is also superior in edge detailing.
