The influence of different transformers in the operation of a three–phase dual active bridges DC–DC converter is analyzed. The transformers considered have their windings connected in star–star, delta–delta, star–delta and delta–star.
The 3-phase inverter proposed uses lower number of components. The design incorporates multiple carrier PWM for reduction of THD. The PV panels are related at every 3 phase VSI (Voltage Source inverter’s) DC side.
The Fig. 7 demonstrates the real and reactive power of Three-Phase Multi-inverter with Cascaded H-Bridge Inverter where the time (sec) are marked in X axis and amplitude (volts) are marked in Y axis. It is found that proposed Three-Phase Multi-inverter with Cascaded H-bridge Inverter achieves better real and reactive power.
In the auxiliary circuit there is no inverting bridge used in the bipolar phase voltage generation. Two power switches are present in every auxiliary cell. 18IGBT (Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor) and seven DC sources are needed for the proposed inverter.
