As a sustainable and clean technology, EECS has been among the most valuable options for meeting increasing energy requirements and carbon neutralization.
The contemporary global energy landscape is characterized by a growing demand for efficient and sustainable energy storage solutions. Electrochemical energy storage technologies have emerged as pivotal players in addressing this demand, offering versatile and environmentally friendly means to store and harness electrical energy.
Based on CNESA’s projections, the global installed capacity of electrochemical energy storage will reach 1138.9GWh by 2027, with a CAGR of 61% between 2021 and 2027, which is twice as high as that of the energy storage industry as a whole (Figure 3).
