A higher specific surface area and thinner dielectrics result in greater specific capacitance and energy density. In comparison with the rated capacitance of traditional capacitors in the range between micro and milli- Farads, the capacitance of a supercapacitor unit can reach thousands of Farads.
Furthermore, the current challenges in this field and the future prospects of magnetic field effects in supercapacitors were also enclosed in this review. This review is expected to serve as a doorway for many interdisciplinary research studies to tap into the full potential of magnetic field assisted electrochemical performance of supercapacitors.
