This paper proposes tailored energy storage configuration schemes for new energy power plants based on these three commercial modes.
The hybrid energy storage configuration scheme is evaluated based on the annual com-prehensive cost of the energy storage system (Lei et al. 2023). Based on balance control and dynamic optimisation algorithm, a method is described for hybrid energy storage capacity allocation in multi-energy systems.
In the context of increasing renewable energy penetration, energy storage configuration plays a critical role in mitigating output volatility, enhancing absorption rates, and ensuring the stable operation of power systems.
In this section, based on the energy storage configuration results mentioned above, the actual benefits generated by these three commercial models are evaluated from four perspectives: technical, economic, environmental, and social.
